Human rights in focus: Political imprisonment and the consequences for health

As part of the Berlin Freedom Week, the Federal Parliamentary Commissioner for the Victims of the SED Dictatorship is hosting a discussion with former opposition members from the GDR and international dissidents, in cooperation with the Robert Havemann Society. 

How do the experiences of repression affect the lives of the victims and their relatives? The dialogue will examine the consequences of political repression and the significance of recognising the injustice experienced. The event is for invited guests and is directed in particular at parliamentarians and representatives of the press. These individuals can register using the contact details available via the link.
