Urban Voices
Urban Voices is a multimedia exhibition that brings the value of freedom to life from diverse and thought-provoking perspectives. At its core are the voices of influential Berlin personalities – including designer Eike König, Tresor founder Dimitri Hegemann, and Bärbel Badrasky, head of the Women’s Prison (JVA). Together, they form a multifaceted picture of how freedom is lived and negotiated today.
Visitors can discover stories and contribute their own perspectives in the interactive exhibition – making Urban Voices a continuously growing space where freedom is reimagined and experienced anew.
The exhibition takes place from November 8 to 13, 2025, at the DAWN Haus.
The opening is on November 8 at 6:30 p.m., followed by a workshop on November 9 (t.b.a.).
Opening hours: November 9 from 12:00–6:00 p.m. and November 10–13 from 4:00–8:00 p.m.
On November 11 at 9:00 a.m., the breakfast panel “Middle East Dissidents: Women, Life, Freedom - A Regional Struggle” will take place.
In cooperation with Dawn Denim, a sustainable jeans label, the exhibition is hosted in the brand’s showroom. Here, fashion and art meet in unexpected ways: a fashion space transforms into a resonating chamber for social values. This connection opens new perspectives on freedom – not only as a concept, but as something tangible in everyday life, a cultural statement in the heart of Berlin.
The exhibition opens with an evening of talks, music, and drinks – inviting guests to linger, exchange ideas, and reflect together.
