Make it and take it! Tinkering and Designing with Laser Cutter and 3D Printing

Bring new life to your old T-shirt with a statement print, reprint a lost game piece, or design your own stamp: MeetUp at the Humboldt Forum!

In this three-hour workshop, all interested participants — with or without prior experience — are invited to explore various Maker Space technologies. On different dates, we’ll demonstrate how to use laser cutters, 3D printers, cutting plotters, sewing and embroidery machines to create useful everyday items.

Inspired by the house’s current exhibitions and themes, participants can design and create their own graphics and objects using software like Inkscape or Tinkercad on laptops. Those with a knack for making will leave with a finished product to take home.

The number of participants is limited. Please book a free ticket in advance. The workshop is not suitable for children and young people under 16 years of age.
