Guided Tour at the Asisi Panorama Berlin – Discover Everyday Life with the Berlin Wall
Discover Yadegar Asisi’s panorama “The Wall” and immerse yourself in everyday life in the West Berlin district of Kreuzberg during the 1980s. On a fictional autumn day, scenes along the Berlin Wall come to life: playing children, people moving house, mural artists, border guards, and curious tourists. From the visitor platform, you gain an impressive 1:1 perspective of the 360° panorama, vividly conveying the absurd normality and subtle cruelties of life in the shadow of the Berlin Wall.
Contemporary photographs, original sketches by the artist, and accompanying films provide insight into the creation of the work, the world of divided Berlin, and Asisi’s artistic approach. The tour can be conducted as an open dialogue, questions are always welcome. After the guided tour, visitors are invited to explore the panorama individually and engage more deeply with the depicted scenes.
The tours take place daily from November 8 to 15, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.
